THE ORIGINS
The municipality of Saint-François-du-Lac extends over an area of more than 63 square kilometers in the administrative region of Centre-du-Québec. It is part of the regional county municipality of Nicolet-Yamaska. Saint-François, located south of Lake Saint-Pierre, along the Saint-François River, now has more than 2,000 Franciloises and Francilois.
